Albufera Hotel Valencia
The Albufera Hotel (4 hotels) located in Alfafar near Valencia.
Well, I have to say I loved this hotel, this hotel was ideal for me, located in a commercial park with a large number of stores and it was still a quiet area. The proximity of all these shops was good to me. The hotel is very well connected to the city, you can be in Valencia city-center very quickly with the train, bus or if you have a car you can take the road , you will need about 10 minutes to be in Valencia.
Room
I was in a double room ideally located on the same floor of the tennis court, the swimming pool and the fitness gymnasium. My room was comfortable with a view on the swimming pool . The room had the usual mini-bar , TV (Canal plus was available, and I enjoyed watching some cool and recent movies at night) and Internet access corner ADSL/WIFI.
Internet access through WIFI was expensive I paid 12 euros for a 24 hours access, you have to buy a Telefonica pre-paid card this one has a password that you use during your first connexion on their server another alternative was the 1 hour access at 6 euro.
Breakfast
Served until 10:30 during the week and until 11:00 during the week end it forced me to wake up early, most of the days I took my breakfast at 9:30 that early for me . For breakfast it is a ‘buffet libre’ where you can choose all sort of foods from cooked stuffs such as eggs, sausages to cold stuffs bread, cheese, …;they had virtually everything you can dream of to make your ideal breakfast at the exception of diet products such as soy milk and diet cereal.
Facilities
I spend several hours on the swimming pool side, I did swim from time to time, it was a great way to spend a 40 ° Celsius beginning of afternoon, at first I was alone, but then people from their windows room saw that I had fun and they quickly joined, some enjoyed the swimming pool and other the tennis court, I liked it because , it was always small group of people, therefore It was easier to socialize and it was quieter.
I didn’t go to the gymnasium and sauna.
People
Clients are mostly Spanish with a few French tourists. The staffs speak perfect English and are helpful , polite and nice.
My experience of that hotel was positive and I highly recommend the Albufera Hotel

Rates varies depending the months and the room type: I paid 123 euro for my double room, I was there during the first days of the America Cup in June 2007 otherwise the normal rates are well below 100 euro.
