My days in Benidorm
Benidorm was a mixed bag to me, there are good and bad aspects to Benidorm. This is very different of my experience of Valencia or Barcelona whish was mostly a positive one.
What saved my trip to Benidorm is my friends I was with a lot of friends, in fact, I think Benidorm is nice if you go with friends or family otherwise it is a boring place to go solo.
There are no monuments in Benidorm, nothing to see , nothing to visit, it is not a cultural destination. I think there is no museums, in the other hand, there is everything for fun and relaxation depending of your meaning of fun, but there are all types of nice restaurants in Benidorm, I went to fabulous Chinese one, and I loved to go at magnificent tapas bar.
At night you can go at cocktail bar or one of the shows available such as Sticky Vicky or the dance show at Benidorm Palace, there are also a seemingly endless numbers of clubs.
There is part of the city with Spanish crowd and another part with the British crowd, at night I was mostly with my friends from Scotland so we went to those clubs in the British part, the vibes wasn’t that good, I’m so used to meet nice people in clubs, well, this time I met cold and reckless people, that night in the clubs was average, the next night we went to see a Michael Jackson impersonator and it was better, we also had fun playing pool and doing karaoke.
During the day, you have to choice between beach or one of the parks Aqualand , Mundo Mar or Terra Mitica. I was supposed to go at the Aqualand water park with my friends but I was too tired after one full night in the clubs, I went relaxing on the beach instead.
My days in Benidorm were extremely lazy, I might go back there in future as I have friends working there in the tourism industry.
