Ah Agora hotel review
In Caceres I stayed at the AH Agora hotel (4 stars), I was surprised by how small my room was I excepted something bigger for a 4 stars, fortunately the room was very comfortable even if a bit too dark for my taste. All the rooms have free ADSL available if you don’t have a network cable ask at the reception desk for one, there is also WIFI available in some part of the hotel in the hall and on the first floor, my room was on the first floor I got an extremely weak signal that I couldn’t connect with.
TV sets was cool they offer the usual Spanish channels and VIVA (Germany), SAT 1 (Germany), Eurosport (Germany), CNN Europe(English) , there is also Canal + (Spanish), I saw two cool films on Canal + and I watched a nice football match (Barcelona FC vc Bilbao Athletics )
Room service offers a variety of fast food type of meals, I tried their Agora sandwich which was a kind of toast with 3 slices of bread, Spanish hams (5 jotas ?) , vegetables and eggs and a portions of chips as a meal it was enough for me, I didn’t need more after that, the next day I tried another of their good sandwich.
The cafetaria is at the underground level, it offers the usual buffet stuffs at the difference of many other hotels, you don’t have to prepare your own coffee , an hotel attendant proposed to do that for me.
Noise can be a problem at time hopefully I came at a time of the year when there aren’t many people booked, when my room neighbor opened his shower at midnight I could hear it , like it was in my room. I cant imagine the level of noise in the summer season.
The bathroom is fine with hair dryer and all the stuffs you need to take a good bath.
The AH Agora hotel is a decent hotel for his price.
