BE A MASTER !

Be a master! I found this text by the entity called Datre to be very inspiring :

A MASTER is not helpless. A MASTER stands on his own two feet, regardless of what anyone else in this world does, thinks or say’s. A MASTER “knows” him or her self. A MASTER accepts the challenges that he puts in front of him or her self. It not a willy nilly, sit by the side of the road and watch everybody else type of thing. It is getting into that which you call “living” and living it.

That is one of the things that people keep saying, “well, I want to do this and I want to do that and I want to do something else”. Have you ever thought, a MASTER does not say, “I want to”, a MASTER say’s, “I will”. “I will do that, I’m not going to sit and think about it, I’ll do it”. “I will accept the consequences of whatever I do, because I am doing it”.

We have said many, many times, “you are alone”. You are “singular” your experience is “your” experience – period. You drag everyone else into your experience, because you are “helpless”. But, if you’re “not” helpless, if you “know” who you are, you don’t need to drag everyone else in to “support” you in your “helplessness”. That’s what groups, organizations, whatever you want to call it, is all about. You don’t “need” anyone else’s support when you “know” who you are, because “you” can handle the situation that “you” put in front of you – nobody else puts them there.

There’s no such thing as an “accident”, we have said that many, many times. “Well, I had an accident, somebody bumped into my car”. But you don’t realize, “you” have set that up in front of yourself. Why did you do it? What did you learn from that experience? How did you handle that experience? What was your “action” and what was your “reaction” to that experience? What was the other persons “action” and “reaction” to that experience?

This is what “observation” is all about. And in “observation” you will begin to stand on your own two feet. Because, if you “watch” what is happening, it will make all the difference. Then someone will come back and say, “well, I haven’t got time”. Well, you’ve got time for other things. When you’re in situations, like a auto accident, where else should you be?

Except, at that “time” you should be right there. Instead of, “what about work?”, “What about my kids?”, “What about this what about that?” “What about something else?”. You’re “scattered” and that’s what MASS CONSCIOUSNESS is. It is scattered, MASS CONSCIOUSNESS is UN-focused.

This is what we’re trying to tell you – be “focused”. Be where you are, at the time you’re there. Enjoy what is happening. If you don’t enjoy it, don’t enjoy it. But “don’t enjoy it” to the fullest. Then if you “enjoy it”, enjoy it to the fullest.

JOHN: In other words, be the “actor”. Revel in what you’re playing. If you’re going to be miserable, be as miserable as you can possibly be.

DATRE: That’s what an actor does. You watch these people on stage, they’re screaming, they’re hollering, they’re crying, they’re doing all of these things. They’re trying to get you involved in what they’re trying to portray to you. They’re trying to convey to you – tragedy. And they’re doing it to the hilt, so that you’ll get involved in what they’re doing. Can you see the correlation? Its there, you’re the actor, you’re the one, nobody else is telling you how to act your part.

If you “allow” others to tell you “how” to act a part, you’re right smack dab back in MASS CONSCIOUSNESS. And you’re “not” the MASTER you want to be. A MASTER of his or her life, is a MASTER of his or her life. And when you become the MASTER of your life, you’re not caring where you are. You’re not caring if you’re in physicality, you’re not caring if you’re some place else. What do you think some place else is? Some place else is supposed to be something which you have “projected” in that which you call your brain, which is a fantastic never-never land of bliss. Now, isn’t that rather boring? Heaven, as it is referred to, is being in light and love, but what are you doing? You’re doing “nothing”. Well, if everyone sat around and did “nothing” there would be no “evolution”.

You are “not” a BLOB. You are in physicality to be an “active”, “interactive” individual. And a MASTER is not one who sits home on his thumbs. A MASTER is out in the work place. A MASTER is working. A MASTER is experiencing. A MASTER is doing his or her thing the way he or she wants to do it – regardless what anyone else tells them to do. And these people will all tell them how to do this, do that, do it this way, do it that way and he listens to all of them and does not reject them – but does his or her own thing. And in doing your own thing – that is freedom.

So, I hope we have given you the answer you’re looking for. But remember, its “here” and its “now” and you have a “grand” experience – enjoy it.

Sometimes, people make the mistake of thinking that they are following their highest joy. When they are really not following it at all. It goes like this. Joe has a dream to be rich and successful, so he thinks how to make this happen. He concludes that he has to get some education and obtain a MBA from there he will look for a high-paid job and climbing the ladder of hierarchy to the top.
He believes that if he does that with joy he will eventually work effortlessly.
While a positive state of joy can help to accomplish a lot of things our Joe isn’t really following the principle of following his highest joy.

IDEA 1 – Thinking about “HOW” and “WHAT” will give you X is not following your highest joy.

STEP 1 – If there no limitations or consequences, what would perfect average day look like?

Answer this question and pay attention to the essence, the energy behind what your answer for instance in my case. I could say….

I’m creating some cool yoga videos (which I do at Yogahd.TV )
then I create some cool audios or blog post (which I do )
I have a walk at the beach (which I do everyday)

So the essence is teaching in a relaxed environment and enjoy a sense of freedom. When you know the essence it is easy to follow your highest joy because what truly feel joyful will give you the essence of what you want.
In my case, joyful ideas that bring me the essence of what I want, keep popping up in my mind. I write this and then bang “oh, why not re-read what Swami Rama said about breathing and go to the top of the hills make some cool pranayama videos for youtube! ” The idea contains exactly the essence of what I want “teaching in a relaxed environment and enjoy a sense of freedom” and take into account my own ability and natural talent for videos making.

Today, I finally received my recording equipments (To create guided meditations that will be sold on my French website). The installation was long and painful but at the end, I managed to make it all work well. I decide to go for a long walk with a friend. It was quite hot 30º C (86º F).
We started by the beach at front of my apartment.

Me and my friend, we do not talk much so I used the opportunity to do release on AGFLAP-CAP (Release on Apathy, Grief, Fear,Lust, Anger, Pride – Courage, Acceptance, Peace).

At the end of the beach, there is a little river.

There are a lot of cats playing around and some people are fishing. It is a peaceful place that promote relaxation.
We continued walking on the road along the riverside. The road was extremely quiet and tranquil. I did some more release on a project.
Walking like this on a tranquil road near the river on a sunny day raised our vibrations.

At some point, we were on a bridge and my friend took a picture of me.

We found a beautiful view of the hills and the castle. So we took a picture. It was kind of romantic.

We walked some more until the point where we arrived back in the town. There we went to a store to get some foods for the night. When we arrived home. I got an email that say “Affiliate Sale Notification” I made a nice and small $29 during that walk.
So instead of doing what I SHOULD DO and what I MUST DO. I did what was joyful and I didn’t lost any money on the contrary I made some.

We have been blessed with several years of so-called “recession” (Collective learning experience). It was and still is a great opportunity to think about what you really want in your life. Especially, if you had a job that you didn’t like.

I notice something with people that say “I have no idea about my passion! I just don’t know!”
It is that they often think that their passion is not right for them, not politically correct. They have been told or they convinced themselves that, for some reason, their passion isn’t right.
Therefore, they suppress it completely to the point that when they are asked about their passion.
They discard it and try to find something else.

Example of this:

He is 62 and he is convinced that he cannot be a surfer.
He is 16 from the ‘hood and convinced that he cannot be a pianist in a prestigious classical music orchestra.
She is a 38 years-old secretary in a large company, and she is convinced that she cannot run her own farm.
He is 52 years-old truck driver, and he is convinced that he cannot make it as a science fiction writer.

I could go on like this writing much more examples. Now, lets re-connect with your passion. When you were little what were you interested in?

The Nature Of Resistance

Resistance means “take a stand against” or “exert opposition”.
In the human mind and body, it works as follows.  The human body is well equipped to take care of itself, if you cooperate with it. But most of the time the message of the body is unheard and this is the root of many complications.

The body always does its best to maintain balance. Let say that a person is watching way too much  television. Because, the body tries to maintain its balance. The body will signal to that person that it wishes to rest. The signal may come as a headache. This is here that humans start having trouble.


In that moment, this person may decide to stop watching TV and go take some sleep. If he had taken that course of action his headache would subside fairly quickly. But instead he decides to resist. He decides to take a stand against the headache.
He may first put his attention on the headache. Thoughts attract similar thoughts. If you focus on a thought that you consider unpleasant. What is unpleasant will get bigger and stronger. At this point, that person may decide to fight what is seen as unpleasant (the headache) with aspirin.

Using aspirin the individual removes his attention from the headache and focuses on “being relieved by the power of aspirin”. Because, the focus is changed then the condition also change. No more resistance is offered to the headache thought-form. Underneath the problem hasn’t been addressed the body still feels too tired, and its simple message has not been unheard.
Later,  this person may continue with his habit of watching TV too much to the point that the balance of the body is broken. The body may ignite a dis-ease forcing the person to take a rest.

I offered a simple example with the above story on how resistance work and how a resistance is dissolved by removing focus from it. In the context of the health of the body it is important when an apparent problem appears for the first time to let the emotion or feeling flow. If you just listen and observe it will reveal its cause.

Countries and nations also have to deal with their resistances. Resistance makes a problem bigger. Examples of this are:

The war on poverty
The war on drugs
The war on terror
The war on AIDS

If you try to manifest “owning a car” but on the same time, you entertain the belief  “I’m scared of a car accident”. You will certainly resist the idea of owning a car. It will be necessary to let go of the idea that you may get a car accident. You CAN choose to be safe.

In a larger context resistance is simply the fact of not embracing life. When you embrace life, you accept that your body can take care of itself. You accept that the world is safe. You accept abundance and joy.
