I have had this book awhile...and this is not a quick read. It a book filled with experiential exercises. Many of which are Parallel to a $2000 course I have taken in the past.
So if you use them it may take you a while to get through it, but the information is so good and the Reality Creation technique is taught in the early chapters and the author says this is really all you need. And I agree. As I was reading this it sounded so much like the way I already believe that I said to my self "We have studied the same stuff" and I turned to his recommend reading near the end of the book and low and behold we have studied from many of the same sources.
I really like this book it really put it all together and gave me some insights. I seem to have been pulled to the Parallel Universe way of thinking and have used it as a great tool for changing aspects of my life with very fast results in some areas.
I give this book a very high recommendation to all advanced students of Metaphysics looking for more than just the basic LOA stuff that is out there.
I also recommend Bashar, Matrix Energetics, and Quantum Jumping by Burt Goldman But get this book first it might be all you need.

Absolutely brilliant, very lucidly written+one of the finest "New Age" books I have ever read. Do love the way the concepts are presented+it does give a very interesting twist to all those affirmations+visualizations we have been doing for like...dunno, forever:)
I highly recommend this but more suitable for intermediate to advanced new age junkies:) i love it. $20(plus shipping:)well spent, I say. Beam me up Scotty.

I've been studying alternative realities since 1971.
This book has detailed, clear explainations and exercises. Dodson explains how and why reality works.
If you can only buy one book on this subject this is the one.

I read lots of books and magazines on quantum physics because what I know is not enough. I rely on the 'Look Inside This Book' opportunity that Amazon.com offers because it enables me to make an informed choice regarding what material is being covered:
(1) author's qualifications, and
(2) exactly who recommends and qualifies the contents.
"Parallel Universes of Self" didn't offer a 'Look Inside' and I took a chance I wish I hadn't taken. No scientific background is mentioned because there doesn't seem to be any. No recommendations are cited because there just aren't any. And he surely isn't getting one from me.

I really want to do this important book justice because it clearly explains many things that have been a secret or a mystery to those of us on the "reality creation" path. For example, many books on creating reality or self-improvement tell you to act "as if" you already have what you want. This book gives a reasonable explanation of WHY you act "as if" and HOW to act "as if" while in the middle of your current reality. The book is full of practice activities and encourages experimentation. This is my new "desert island" book, ie. if I was stranded on a desert island, this is one of the 5 books would I want to have with me.
