I read an excellent paper on motivation, It describes the flow state as being the ultimate state of motivation. “Flow is characterised by complete immersion in an activity, to the degree that nothing else matters.”

How to get there ?

I believe the absence of negative self-talk is necessary and again self-acceptance especially if doubt is present. In the Meditation Mastery practise they encourage to observe; through observation comes illumination, if you doubt then observe the doubt without judgement until you absorb its energy. It is a bit like doing the thing you fear.
If negative self-talk are really too big then a EFT cure can do the trick especially if you can work on the issues behind the negative self-talk.

A reward must be present and the reward must be big enough to the point it gives a strong sense of fulfilment.
When I decided to the Love Meditation 6 hours a day for a couple of months I Had to stay 100 % motivated, reward such if I do the Love Meditation like this 6 months at the end of that period I will be rewarded with XY doesn’t work because 6 months is too far in the future and the effort are simply too big instead I found a small weekly reward in the feeling of improvement, I mean that each week I would feel the effect of the Love Mediation stronger, that’s the way I keep myself motivated about 1 month and half in the program I could see the effect not only in me but also around…as I wrote in my past article about my experience this reinforced my motivation to keep going…
To keep the daily routine strong in motivation I was seeking an improvement each day.

Now some practises don’t give daily or even weekly improvement that was the case when I started to work with Chi-charging combined with Chakra development (with Xtrememind Kundalini Activator 2), progression are on a monthly basis.
That’s why if you start something stick at it for at least 40 days because many practises start to show result after a month or more.
Here, I have to say that reading stories of other adept who have been successful can be of a help.

Creative visualisation – I have been good at this and it works to stay focused and motivated each night , I visualized my ideal day complete from morning to night, It did very well for me, however, it is not necessary to visualise a full day especially if you just want to improve a “performance”, just visualize the perfect execution of it over and over again.

“I never hit a shot, not even in practice, without having a very sharp, in-focus picture of it in my head. First I see the ball where I want it to finish, nice and white and sitting up high on the bright green grass. Then the scene quickly changes, and I see the ball going there; its path, trajectory, and shape, even its behavior on landing. Then there is a sort of fade-out, and the next scene shows me making the kind of swing that will turn the previous images into reality.”
Source: Jack Nicklaus

The hit documentary “The secret” is still of actuality here with visualisation. Another important thing is to never ever compare your result with those of someone else, may be, you will start the Love Meditation 6 hours during 6 or more months but your progression can be completely different than mine, that can be very frustrating if you want the exact same result.
Sport superheroes are back and I’m really happy for it. I followed with great interest the flawless Beijing Olympic games, I saw a large chunk of it, I followed most of the athletics, I also liked to watch handball , fencing, basketball, swimming, BMX and football (Have you seen Nigeria-Belgium ? 4-1 )

The highlight for me during the first week was the emergence of swimming superhero Michael Phelps and during the second week it was the emergence of another sport superhero sprinter Usain Bolt.
Just like Carl Lewis in his time sport superheroes can galvanize and inspire the people. I’ m sure they served well the Olympic cause even normal champion were very inspiring after my 14 years old cousin saw the synchronized swimming she asked her mother where she can do that. I read somewhere about a girl so fascinated with the Olympic and the performance of Phelps and Bolt and all the other champions that she wants to find a discipline to compete in four years at the London 2012 Olympic games.
It is a lot better to be inspired by sport people than pop culture celebrities.

I always loved people who do something who push the envelop.

Part of the success is to create a positive mental attitude, I think it is achieved by keeping you goal in your mind fresh constantly as achievable , when the goal is a far distant image or too big the motivation level tend to diminish.

This is why I love the Gary Faris motivation strategy for goals motivation and achievement (already posted on the blog a couple years ago)

The stragey credit-source: http://www.successoptions.com/

Gary Faris, a corporate trainer, learned first-hand how PMA works. Since he was a kid, he loved to run. A few years ago Gary, 38, was practicing for a quarter mile race in the Masters category. While training on a quiet country road, he was suddenly hit from behind by a pickup truck going 60 mph. The driver had not seen him because of a small rise in the road. The driver tried to stop but Gary was knocked 120 feet into a farmer’s field.
The prognosis was not good. If he lived, he would never walk normally and he would have to forget about ever running again.
During his painful recovery, Gary applied his understanding of how to create success in business and decided to search for the core characteristics of a successful rehabilitation.
The Six Characteristics of a Positive Mental Attitude Gary discovered are as applicable to all aspects of business as they are to helping someone recover from an injury or setback.
There is a science to creating a positive attitude of achievement. It is made up of very specific elements. They are presented here in a sequence, but it is the simultaneous interaction of them working together that creates the chemistry for a winning attitude and success in just about any endeavor.
Read over this list. Then, follow the exercise at the end.

1. Set Your Inner Motivation

Inner motivation happens when you are clearly motivated toward a very specific goal and away from the unpleasant consequences of not achieving it.

2. The Value of High Standards

Set your own high standards. This means achieving anything less is unacceptable. Personally dedicate yourself to this level.

3. Chunk Down Your Goal

Break down your goal into manageable, bite-size chunks. The benefits are:
·	You’ll focus on small tasks you can and will do.
·	This creates a sense of satisfaction in completing each small step towards achievement.

4. Combine Your Present and Future Time Frames
Think vividly and fully in the positive future. At the same moment you are concentrating on achieving the task at hand, you can also see the big bright picture of your future accomplishment drawing you forward.
What step can you take right now to reach your next milestone? Fully experience the present and take
action toward your future.

5. Personal Involvement

Get involved in your own success. Don’t wait for it to happen to you. When you participate, you influence what’s going on. It increases your commitment, focuses your intensity, and makes you more determined. Personal involvement leads to owning a bigger stake in your own future.

6. Self to Self-Comparison

How do you judge your performance? Traditionally we compare ourselves to others, judging success and failure.
Try looking solely at your own progress, comparing yourself to yourself. What progress have you made since yesterday, since last week, last month, last year? Achievement is about moving from where you were to where you are now and on to where you are going in the future.
In the physics of motion, these Six Characteristic elements are like spokes on a wheel. Together they support the hub of your life as you roll towards manifesting your dreams, your goals and your future achievements.
Now, try this exercise.
Choose one of your goals and take it through the Six Characteristics.
TIP: To be successful in any endeavor you need first to know your specific goals or outcomes.
·	Do you have both specific outcomes to achieve and clear negative consequences of not reaching your goal?
·	Have you set a high standard for yourself?
·	Have you chunked your goal down to manageable steps?
·	Is your visualized future accomplishment presently drawing you toward it?
·	Are you taking action or waiting for it to happen to you?
·	Lighten up! Compare yourself to yourself. Use others as inspiration, not comparison.

Using these Six Characteristics and a lot of determination, Gary Faris was able to get through two years of painful rehabilitation and is now running again. Amazing! Apply these Six Characteristics to your business, to a struggling employee, or to your health, and notice your increased effectiveness. Let me know how it works for you!

(This model was originally developed by Gary J. Faris, Senior NLP Trainer and Consultant.)

I read in Alex Kent newsletter that today is a day of luck and that we should focus on prosperity because , we are the 08/08/08 , even the Olympic started today at 08:08 PM China local time, it was about 14:02 over here in Spain.

The newsletter says :

“There is a lot of negativity at the moment surrounding the global economic crisis and many people, including Silvia Hartmann are suggesting that since fear breeds fear, we need to stay positive and focused on achieving our goals, if we are not to all become victims of the squeeze.

Indeed, we need to celebrate our own success!

And what better day to do that on, than a day that only comes around once every 100 years and contains more ‘lucky’ eights than you could shake a stick at?

You may or not be superstitious, but many different cultures and beliefs all around the world hold up the number 8 to be the symbol of wealth, good fortune and luck. From Chinese business men who pay a fortune for a lucky number plate or phone number, to the field of Western Numerology who links the number with business success, the number 8 is a very magical number.”
http://StarFields.org/080808/

Earlier this year, I got an another newsletter that encourage people to focus on their prosperity and wealth in 2008 this is understandable, the working class in USA, UK, Belgium and Spain is getting poorer and I guess it might be the case in more countries.

If you read newspapers or watch the news on television then you see non-stop news about the poor shape of economy , oil prices going up, jobs moving abroad , sub-prime crisis, etc….

A focus on what you don’t want is always a bad idea. I can only encourage people to focus on being wealthier this year.

I’m re-reading Datre book five - Conversations with Datre and there is interesting comment about self-consciousness and self-awareness.

Self consciousness is really Self awareness. Its sort
of like the words “idea” and “thinks”. If you were to go
into or inside of the word “Self awareness” you would
discover it is a different expression of consciousness
itself, only individualized or personalized.

Just as we have said with the word “idea” if you were
to go inside that word you would find the “Thought”
from which the idea came. Or even the word “thinks”
which are the result of Thought “fragments” instead
of whole thoughts.

Subconscious is a level of awareness that is not fully
focused.

The book gives this exercise :

First say the words “Self conscious” to your self and
see what you get as a feeling of the body.
Then say the words “Self aware” and see what you
get for a feeling of the body. They should result in
two different types of feeling about the body.

I want to move ahead with this project, only 3 chapters are online, but I have translated a lot more but all is on papers not on my computer so I have a lot to type, spellcheck, proofread , etc… …I’m very motivated to have the book completed very soon.

I noticed that people type in google “Klaus Joehle français” this is a good indication that there is a demand for the book in French.
