Gamma Brain waves with Gammadrone
Posted by: | CommentsIs there a brain waves pattern associated with heightened state of concentration? Yes, it is the gamma state (40 Hz to 70 Hz). Only five years ago, Binaural Beats CD’s with gamma brain waves were so rare. Then Dr. Jeffrey Thompson did his Gamma CD, and later many other people launched their own Gamma CD . Immrama with the Focus CD, Brainsync also with a CD called Focus.
I’m currently listening to Gammadrone from J.S Epperson, it is a good gamma brain wave CD. You can use gamma brain waves to help to concentrate when you study or do some computer work like blogging this post! If you are into accelerated learning such as PhotoReading, you could use certain yogic breathing that will cause you to produce Alpha brain waves and use the CD to also produce Gamma brain wave with these mixed brain waves patterns also called “Awakened Mind” (See Anna Wise book) , Photoreading and even remote healing becomes very easy.
You can get Gammadrone for as low as $1 dollar on Mellowcore.
In this video, you can listen to the Quantum Edit version. Enjoy!
Consciousness Exploration Retreat in UK
Posted by: | CommentsA couple years ago, if you wanted to attend a consciouness exploration retreat based on the Hemisync/Robert Monroe research, you had to save some money and book a flight to the Nancy Penn Center in Virginia, USA. Are you curious to know what music contains the highest vibrations ?
Posted by: | CommentsWell, it is not classical , nor new age. It is hang drum music !!!
It is an instrument invented by Sabina Schärer and Felix Rohner. After I heard the hang music I researched the net to acquire a hang drum, apparently it is very complicated. Hang drum aren’t mass produced. The instrument is only 10 years old. The video below is a good demonstration of hang drum music. If you are a musician you might have a look at http://www.hangfan.co.uk/index.php#free-hang-samples.php. They have a sampler pack for Logic Pro and the built-in EXS24 sampler instrument.
Here is a list of hang music CDs http://www.hang-music.com/cds.php

MindSpa – Biofeedback and relaxation on your Iphone-Ipod touch
Posted by: | Comments
I was listening an interview of Richard Bandler the co-creator of NLP and author of many books such as “Get The Life You Want”. He said that people stress themselves by playing all those Iphone video game, based on that observation he develop a video game that reward you the more you relax. It is called MindSpa.
Here is the skinny:
This short but powerful introduction program uses what is known as dual induction where a separate voice is provided simultaneously to each ear. Dr. Bandler is a pioneer in this technique. You will also be treated to a delightful proprietary light show designed to help induce deep relaxation.
The way it works is that the visual portion includes biofeedback to measure slight changes in body movement which is “fed back” to you in the form of color changes. As you become more relaxed, the screen color moves progressively from red to deep blue. Biofeedback is basically a method to teach you how to relax by observing changes in your physiology as they occur in real time.

Brain Wave Vibration, Korean Style Mind-Body Training
Posted by: | CommentsGuest Article
In the June 2010 issue of Neuroscience Letters, an international science journal, research teams from South Korea reported that the Brain Wave Vibration meditation method seems to train the sympathetic nervous system to regulate stress and somatize stress. Sixty-seven participants in a meditation group regularly practicing the mind-body training called “Brain-Wave Vibration” have responded with more positivity under stressful circumstances. Their stress hormone levels showed better stress management skills and a faster capacity to become positive under the same stressful situations.
New York, NY (PRWEB) June 24, 2010 — In the June 2010 issue of Neuroscience Letters, an international science journal, research teams from South Korea reported that the Brain Wave Vibration meditation method seems to train the sympathetic nervous system to regulate stress and somatize stress.

This study is a result of two-year collaboration between prominent research institutes in South Korea, Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul National University College of Medicine and Korean Institute of Brain Science, funded by the cognitive neuroscience program of the Korean Ministry of Science and Technology.
The study was designed to assess the association between stress, positive affect and catecholamine levels in meditation and control groups. The meditation group consisted of 67 subjects who regularly engaged in “Brain-Wave Vibration” mind-body training and the control group consisted of 57 healthy subjects.
The control group consisted of 57 healthy subjects, ages 19 to 37 years. The meditation group consisted of 67subjects, aged 18 to 36 years, who practiced meditation regularly. Subjects in the meditation group had been practicing meditation for a mean of 43 months.
Plasma catecholamine (norepinephrine (NE), epinephrine (E), and dopamine (DA)) levels were measured, and a modified form of the Stress Response Inventory (SRI-MF) and the Positive Affect and Negative Affect Scale (PANAS) were administered. Read More→
