Future Pacing, attractor field and creating reality
ByFuture pacing is a very interesting technique that I use everyday to stay focused and single-minded. In the past, I had that book about mind power written by Christian Godefroy, there was a chapter on creative visualization and it explains that the best salesmen aren’t the ones with amazing sales techniques but the ones that are visualizing themselves that way.
Future pacing is a very powerful visualization exercise it assumes that you have a goal and that you are working on it, future pacing will be the process where by you imagine yourself in for example 6 months in the future or one year in the future and you imagine what it will be like after you worked on your project 6 months , a year, what is your skill level, progress , your environment, is the goal completed ?
Key elements to visualize and have a deep feelings when you future pace are : (if they apply)
Your skills level
Your attitude toward this new skill level or state of reality
How people react to you
How is your environment are you at the same place ?
How do you feel about your environment
How do you feel about the people
When you have a deep feelings for that you are actually making it more normal to you, you are creating an attractor field with your future ideal self.
Your present self will be attracted to that future self, because, the more you do future pacing the more you will feel and adopt the attitude of that future self.
Let say that you have no skill at remote viewing you pick up a course and you hope that within a year, you will be good at it. Future pacing will help you to build the motivation to keep training and you can also use it for correction, future pacing is also for feedback.
Behavior corrections and future pacing
By observing the new attitude and behavior you may notice that may be, your future self , the person that you are going to become after a couple of months doesn’t have some of your detrimental current tendencies. For instance you are learning remote viewing but future pacing inform you that in order to master that skill your future self developed the habit to be a lot more organized than you are now. So the next thing to do is to take step to be more organized doing this will make you more magnetic to that future reality that you are creating. It is important when future pacing to ask yourself, “what I did do to get here ?”
“What habit changed ?”
“Did I give up a bad habit ?”
“Did I gain new habit to get here ?”
The intuitive answer to these questions will give you insight to behaviors to modify.
