What Brainwave entrainment CD will you buy first ?

Ok, Let start with the companies that make them, and then the application you can use brainwave entrainment CD with.
The big names are Centerpointe, Mind-Tek and Hemi-sync, they have the money to conduct research and they are able to test their products in clinical environment.
Centerpointe founded by Bill Harris is known for their product Holosync. It is an expensive product, Bill Harris claims his product is superior because he has conducted research to find the best carrier frequencies according to him “By gradually increasing input to the brain through the use of increasingly lower carrier frequencies, we continue to move the brain to higher, more complex levels of functioning where unresolved mental/emotional garbage cannot exist and is resolved and higher mental functions are developed.”

Some users of Centerpointe are happy some aren’t, Centerpointe marketing techniques are debatable and suspicious, due to its high price, I do not recommend this product. If you still do want to go with Centerpointe, I recommend you search online on forum and mailing list about users feedback.

Mind-tek previously known as Zygon has a wide range of products, they have several lines of binaural beats CD the last one is the X-Mind. I personally had great experience with the Ultra-Meditation series from them. You can access their forum online and read many happy users experience. They are a lot of buzz around their Eternity CD, I got this is one , it is a $ 50 dollars CD with 2 tracks each about 28 minutes, they contains subliminal. I haven’t particularly been impressed with this CD, for example I was never able to reach a deep meditation state with it. Now, experienced users complain that the Mind-tek products are too basic and this is true, however, if you have never used such a product this is not important. The Ultra-Meditation is great introduction to binaural beats CD price tag is $99 (5 CDs).

Hemi-sync is the most serious company out there, what they do work and work very well, they have a wide range of products. One of their last title is Hemi-sync Manifesting to help to create reality 2 CDs for $19.95, also popular is the Gateway Experience , however, this is a structured course with guided meditation for self-discovery each is about 100 dollars.
If you are new to this try one their music CD or the Human Plus Mobius West which guide you to create your reality and change defeating behaviours.
Other smaller but still important players include Brainsync, Immrama, Xtrememind and I-Doser. I do not see any interest in I-Doser they certainly have brilliant marketing ploy but that about all they have.
Brainsync has guided meditations, CDs with subliminal and music CDs. Brainsync is Ok for relaxation, I have many of their titles I was never able to reach deep trance with them except with one called Brainsync Ecstasy. Their subliminal series did work for me. One of their most popular CD is their Brainsync Deep Meditation. I do not have it, but I read positive feedback from users about it.
Immrama has the Insight and the Focus, I have both of them, the Focus is supposed to promote concentration, I haven’t found any evidence of this, some users told me it worked for them, I do not like to study something and have headphone at the same time, so I didn’t use the Focus CD very much. Insight CD is great for deep meditation , relaxation and stress relief.
Aside from the aforementioned companies, you also have researchers doing braiwave entrainment CDs such as Anna Wise and Dr. Jeffrey Thompson.

Applications:

Stress relief , emotional release and anxiety reduction

Report from the attending physician at a rehabilitation center for alcohol and drug abuse: “I introduced Hemi-Sync, particularly Relax, as an adjunct to our traditional twelve step treatment program. Not only you can have such effect with Hemi-sync but also with Immrama Insight CD and probably with Centerpointe Holosync

Sleep disorder , insomnia

I tested the Dr. Jeffrey Thompson Delta Sleep System, it didn’t work at first then I had the idea to put speakers at the left and right side of my bed, to my surprise listening the CD like this quickly induced a state of falling asleep. I believe when I tried with the headphone I told to myself, I’m not going to sleep, I m going to listen to music.
Eventually, you can use such CD with a pillow speaker, you can get one at Sleepsonic.
Brainsync Ectasy also promote restful sleep. I discovered that when I stayed in a hotel during a holiday at night I listened to Ectasy with earplug this time and I quickly feel asleep and I had a restful, I was amazed to woke up early full of energy.

Deep meditation and relaxation

Many products will do fine, you have to decide, if you prefer a CDs with music such as Brainsync or something with rainfall and ocean wave like Immrama. Some people cant stand the rainfall/ocean wave, they want music.
Dick Stuphen Zapper Mp3 can quickly induce a state of trance however he uses nothing to mask the noise and the beat while effective the Zapper mp3 is irritating as well.
