Celibacy, Kundalini and Dogma
ByWhen you read the Dr. George King material. He advocates celibacy as mandatory to achieve the highest state in human development. His point is that “loss” of semen in sexual intercourse blocks the flow of Kundalini
energy, in the Kundalini Yoga that he was following they say something like “Loss of semen is equated with killing of the Buddha”.
I have experimented with celibacy in the past and indeed it gives the opportunity to channel sexual energy into something you can use for expanding your awareness by dropping completely the need for an orgasm. If you could build up sexual energy and then observe your sexual energy just as energy and from there continue the build up of energy until you reach several plateaus, you could feel a deeper connection to the world around you and an expansion of your knowingness. Now, you can do that in a celibacy context as advocated by Kundalini Yoga or in couple with sexual intercourse as in Taoism or Tantric Yoga. For a man if you choose to keep an active sex life, you will have to learn to have an or multiple orgasms without ejaculating because the loss of semen is obviously in the ejaculating and not in the orgasm itself.
You can develop what Mantak Chia calls the Valley Orgasm, obviously, build-up energy during sexual intercourse with the consent of your partner and then having a non-ejaculatory orgasm from a high plateau will cause you to experience the orgasm in your entire body and will deepen your connection to your partner and the world, this is a higher bliss feeling that cannot be described but only experienced. Now, this is not the point I want to make here if you wish to study semen retention and learn how to have multiple orgasms from a high plateau study books such as “Taoist Secrets of Love: Cultivating Male Sexual Energy
” and “The multi-orgasmic man”.
The point I want to make is that your personal evolution can be successful in any direction you choose to go there is no need to be so dogmatic. You can be homosexual, lesbian, heterosexual or celibate and still learn who you really are, expand your knowledge and know what existence is all about. There is no really a need for Kundalini Yoga , Tantra or whatever, study these things if you feel drawn to them but understand that it is important to NOT fall in the box of dogma. As Klaus Joehle in his book “Living on Love: The messenger” take what you like and leave the rest.
