Stop recycling yesterday!
Posted by: | CommentsSomeone told me “well, Louis, my days are boring, it is always the same”. Yes, I understand there is a certain safety in recycling yesterday experiences. First you do not have to face your own issues and inner turmoil , this alone will convince many of living over again and again with yesterday. Yesterday is a safe known territory. If you find the courage to face your inner turmoil then each day will be new with unknowns. Who is afraid of the unknown ? Well many people. You know when you go to sleep you do not know what will be made tomorrow yet you go to sleep without much terror.
In fact , the fear of the unknown is really a lack of self-confidence in one ability to face challenges. There is little growth in maintaining yesterday experiences in today.
The greatest barrier of human growth is fear. Let say that for one reason or another you are terrorized to re-produce mistakes you made in the past this cause you to avoid any type of risk and challenges, you play it safe.
If you are in that situation in one or several areas of your life, you can choose to accept your condition for what it is, explore your belief system and understand the nature of your condition. You have to realize that challenges and risks are not to be feared , you are not prisoner of your past or some malicious force. If you take the time to observe the unfolding of your day without judgement but just for learning from the observation you will not say your days are the same, everyday will be different, the sameness of the day come from of clothing what you perceive with your yesterday judgement.
As I said if no judgement is placed you allow yourself to perceive with new unbiased eyes. When you wake up in the morning tell yourself that you accept yourself and all the experiences you will encounter. Take a new street, eat a new food, watch a different program, try something new and have fun.
False Logic: Money is The Root of All Evil
Posted by: | CommentsIf you watch the movie Zeitgeist Addendum it concludes that money is the root of all of evil, in fact, you can see that one of the expert in the movie is telling that the problems of our world are created by money. The true is that the lack of money could be a root for something not so good, but at a fundamental level money itself is nor good or bad. It is just a exchange mean no more, no less.
Rather than interpreting money as the root of all evil, it will be more beneficial to see it as a reflection of your level of self-acceptance as you accept more of yourself, you finally come to a point where you have the courage to really do what you love from there you will derive an income that will provide you with abundance and fulfilment.
Many people and this is really many people when they grow old, they regret they didn’t pursue their true passion. They regret they indulged in activity they didn’t like just because they were too afraid of what they want….When I was 17 I worked on a week end job in a retirement home I talked to many old people they told me….”You know, son, when I was your age I was really a great soccer player but I was afraid to pursue a career there, It was risky, instead I got a boring office job, I stayed there for 40 years until, I retired, I regret I should have become a soccer player , don’t make the mistake I did”.
I have heard so many of these stories. Read More→
False Logic: Man Made Global Warming !
Posted by: | CommentsThe cover of the August 13, 2007 issue of Newsweek sports a picture of a very active sun with a title “Global Warming is a Hoax.” But the cover story isn’t about how the man-caused global warming hysteria is a hoax. Oh, no, it is just the opposite. It is a diatribe about how those who are skeptical about man’s influence on climate are denying the truth and are undermining the true science. Science that allegedly shows without a doubt that man is causing global warming. The article’s title, “The Truth About Denial,” provides the lead-in for the accusation that the skeptics are receiving millions of dollars (primarily from big oil, of course) to provide research disproving man-caused global warming. The author, Sharon Begley, accused Exxon alone of giving $19 million to such efforts. Read More→
Is television doing the thinking for you ?
Posted by: | CommentsSource: NaturalNews
The world’s biggest leisure activity is watching television. Not walking or reading, not playing games with our children, not engaging with others in outdoor activities. Most of us like to think that television has absolutely no effect on how we think or what we do. We believe that it is a way to relax. Many of us may be surprised to know that television is a controlling medium, relaxing us enough to switch off our analytical brain (the left side of the brain) so that we uncritically, or unlogically, process the information beaming from the television. This means we are less able to make decisions or judgments about what we hear on television.
Our brains undergo a similar process under hypnosis. The similarity between hypnosis and the effects of watching television is unveiled in Dr Aric Sigman’s book called Remotely Controlled.

Exploring your belief system
Posted by: | CommentsPeople don’t know who they are , Dr. Cialdini author of “Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion” explains that, “When you describe the benefits it’s not sufficient to describe what they’ll gain. The psychological research is very clear, that people are up to five times more motivated by the idea of losing something, than they are of gaining that very same thing.”
I believe the reason for such results is that people don’t know themselves otherwise if they knew themselves, they will have a lot less fear. You can choose to keep a fear, let says the fear of falling off of your roof when you are working on it. That fear might help you to be more concentrated on the work, that fear you will not cause you to fall off the roof because your drive to live is a lot stronger. Now, there is obviously a framework where no fear is present and working on the roof is no big deal.
Fear of losing something, fear of the unknown….If I have a fear of losing something I will handle it that way, I will relax take a paper and pen I will explore my belief that cause me to fear to lose something, I will try to go at the root of the belief. Read More→
