Pushing

A similar philosophy can be developed for mental training pushing until you have a daily or weekly improvement.
For instance if you are comfortable with Chi alternate nostrils breathing on a rhythm of 6-12-6 then move to 7-14-7 there is no point to stay forever on 6-12-6 or lower; improvement matter.
Yesterday, I pushed a hard and got great improvement , I think I will continue like that however today I couldn’t push hard like yesterday I lost hours trying to find a cheap flight from Barcelona to Montreal after I did that I was tired and I hadn’t enough energy to push.
Like Klaus said it is like in body building if you do 10 push up with the same weight all the time you will get accustomed to it and you wont get much progress in mental training everything can be improved the quality and the deepness of your concentration, inner peace, trance state, all aspect can improved it does help to explore new territories, states and experiences. I will not tell you what are those new territories it is better if you find out for yourself it will keep you motivated as you discover them.

I think that “pushing” is counterproductive to anything one wants to really achieve. It is a restrained method which gives some results - as in your examples. But when you force energy it means that there are doubts and that you do not trust yourself. So you push and in that pushing you push also doubts. So maybe there are some positive results but there are also always side-effects.
So to me it seems a more evolved method simply to KNOW, to TRUST and ALLOW the Universe deliver.
BTW: Spain hat a fantastic second halftime!

I’m in an Internet Cafe waiting the bus to Barcelona…hmm
Well, trusting and allowing is not incompatible with pushing, I have to say they work well together in fact one need to trust and to allow in order to push…because pushing or working hard demands discipline…

Congratulations to Spain!
The finale yesterday showed quite good the difference between “pushing” and and “hard work”.
The Spanish players just “played” and it seemed to be effortlessly. The players didn’t look as if they had a hard time. They even smiled sometimes. I had the impression that they could play like this for hours.
The German players “worked” hard and fighted and looked always at the limit of their abilities. They couldn’t have played very much longer.
Both teams had the intention to win of course. But the vibrations were different. And if everybody now is saying that Spain played a “modern soccer” I agree. The “modern part” is not hard work and fighting. It is playing with joy and fun. That are the vibrations leading to the desired success.

Yes certainly, it still doesnt change much…
Do you remenber how pretty poor Spain played during the 2006 Fifa World cup, they were defeated by France.
In fact, I remember the match because I had the impression that France was playing against a bunch of immature children.
After the 2006 defeats they put themselves together, pushed , worked hard and won the UEFA 2008….after 43 long years, they finally decided to “work hard” to get through…
By working hard and pushing I’m really saying doing the stuffs required to get the things done.
Even Jesus had to retreat in the desert for 40 days to get the thing done…he had to “push” otherwise waiting forever will not have worked….there is more to say, but I have to run to pack for my next travel…be well
