Meditation matters

Interesting study :)

Excerpt:

“A recent experiment tested college students’ ability to focus their attention and filter out distractions. Half the students received training in mindfulness meditation while the other half received relaxation training.

After five days, meditators outpaced nonmeditators on the attention test, and they became significantly better at handling stress. Saliva samples revealed lower levels of the hormone cortisol when the meditators were subjected to an anxiety-inducing math quiz. ”

I have done meditations for so many years, I don’t know, how I will score in anything like this, they talk about attention, I consider that I have good level of attention and concentration however it is definitevely not enough to go dive in the deepest layers of the Focus levels from the Gateway Experience CDs course.
The summer has never been a good season for me for deep trance work but I really would like to return to something like deep meditation. I will in september, today, we have 32 degrees Celsius this is too hot for me.
