¡Campeones!

Monday, June 30th, 2008

My friend Robin is crazy, he thought the Mannschaft will be the winner of this UEFA euro…Saturday, I told to my friends at the dinner that Spain will be the winner 1-0 this is exactly what happened.
I do not have time to talk a lot about this, I have to clean my home and pack! I go to Canada….:) I will arrive during the “Quebec summer festival” I have no idea what this is all about…that will be a surprise for me. I land at Quebec-city airport this friday evening.

Pushing

Spain winner
Yesterday was great, first Spain won over Russia in the semi-finale of the Euro-cup which is fantastic, now om another topic, I always have been fascinated by people who understood the benefit of pushing hard to seek improvement daily or weekly people like Klaus Joehle with his work with the $3.6 Millions, Bruce Lee with his intense body building training, Arnold Schwartzennegger also with his body building training when he was working to be a boby-building champion he worked until he fails, meaning until he fell on the ground vomiting in pain.
A similar philosophy can be developed for mental training pushing until you have a daily or weekly improvement.
For instance if you are comfortable with Chi alternate nostrils breathing on a rhythm of 6-12-6 then move to 7-14-7 there is no point to stay forever on 6-12-6 or lower; improvement matter.
Yesterday, I pushed a hard and got great improvement , I think I will continue like that however today I couldn’t push hard like yesterday I lost hours trying to find a cheap flight from Barcelona to Montreal after I did that I was tired and I hadn’t enough energy to push.
Like Klaus said it is like in body building if you do 10 push up with the same weight all the time you will get accustomed to it and you wont get much progress in mental training everything can be improved the quality and the deepness of your concentration, inner peace, trance state, all aspect can improved it does help to explore new territories, states and experiences. I will not tell you what are those new territories it is better if you find out for yourself it will keep you motivated as you discover them.

Interesting study :)

Excerpt:

“A recent experiment tested college students’ ability to focus their attention and filter out distractions. Half the students received training in mindfulness meditation while the other half received relaxation training.

After five days, meditators outpaced nonmeditators on the attention test, and they became significantly better at handling stress. Saliva samples revealed lower levels of the hormone cortisol when the meditators were subjected to an anxiety-inducing math quiz. ”

I have done meditations for so many years, I don’t know, how I will score in anything like this, they talk about attention, I consider that I have good level of attention and concentration however it is definitevely not enough to go dive in the deepest layers of the Focus levels from the Gateway Experience CDs course.
The summer has never been a good season for me for deep trance work but I really would like to return to something like deep meditation. I will in september, today, we have 32 degrees Celsius this is too hot for me.

Peace always begin with you ?

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

Grant Connolly creator of the Zpoint process wrote an interesting article about inner peace and the Zpoint process.
I have to say I have difficulty to keep up with this process it is very time consuming and exhausting but I will make an effort after all I’m a “Do or die” type of person.

Excerpt:

“Peace always begins with me!”.

These are not just words, they are a statement of fact. No matter what situation I find myself in, peace always begins with me. When I walk into a room, no matter what’s going on, I am peaceful and that peace extends like a bubble around me. When I speak to people or even just sit near them, they become more peaceful too. Often remarkably so.

I am not the only person who has this effect on people. There are many long time ZPoint users who have noticed this phenomenon as well. It is important to understand that we are not affecting people in this way, it is the peace we carry inside us that does the job.
