The worst case scenario is when you fall in love for someone in a distant country, one of my friend is in this situation. I almost put myself in this situation with the cute Nancy and now with my new friend Lotus the one on the picture but then this is my last day so I can’t develop anything with any of them at this point, I go home.

My next destination is Peru, Chile or Thailand, I will go back to China, I want to visit shanghai and I want to return here in Guangzhou and Hong Kong they are amazing cities. Lotus is supposed to phone me in a few days when I will be home (the trip to home is super long), may be she will work on me to the point that I return to China sooner than excepted…we will see:)

The trip to home, I have 9 hours of flight to Helsinki (Finland) there I will wait a connection during 3 hours after I have a two hours flight to Brussels. I will spend the night in Brussels with the Family and the next day I have another two hours of flight to Valencia. I live 1h30 from the airport.

My congolose friend may be doesn’t like Chinese women or may be she is jealous, I’m assuming the later after all, you don’t stay 4 years in China if you do not like the people. Before China she was in Brussels, Belgium, she thinks Brussels is boring in fact in a recent poll Brussels was voted the most boring capital of the EU. I completely agree with that Brussels is dull….:)
Now, well, today I was walking with her and we passed by a jewelry shop, two girls saw me, they smile and one of the girl shouted something to me in Chinese, my friend said with disdain look these girls they shout, when they talk it is like they fight.
Each time I’m with her and I attract the interest of a Chinese girl she has a negative remark to make …..
Ok, this is not too important, it was very sunny today, I had a long walk in the city center area.

I have two new friends my first two genuine chinese friends, a man called Nico and a woman called Nancy. I met Nico in his shop, he was reading a book with the cathedral of St. Gudule on the cover (This is a cathedral in my hometown of Brussels, this is where kings marry) His book was a french study course. He likes French a language good for business because the african living in Guangzhou speak French, they are from Senegal, Congo, Ivory coast all these countries where they speak french. I told Nico French is my native tongue. I gave him a long French lesson, he also taught me about Chinese however I’m not sure what I’m learning Madarin or Cantonese ?

Nancy is my other new friend, she works at one of the four restaurants in my hotel, she is the one who assign you with a table , I don’t remember what that job is called. She is very very beautiful perfect face, perfect smile, perfect hair and make up, she looks like the women in the Chinese fashion magazine. In fact reading fashion magazine is one of her hobby. I asked her how to go to some nice parks, zoo, monuments , she told me she has no idea about that but she does know where all the cool shops are….
She is very friendly , caring and we are attracted to each other, she asked me if I have a girlfriend (good question) when I left the restaurant today she gaves me a discount…it was funny because I didnt understand her pronuniciation of the word ‘discount’, I thougth she said ‘discard’ but finally she explained to me with other words.

The days are sunny again I will manage to find nice parks and places to visit, like everyone Nico and Nancy work long hours, they can’t come with me….
