Update on my meditations program

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

Some friends readers ask me to give them an update about the programs I’m following so here is a little update.

In November I wrote that I want to tap into my potential and explore more of it. I have been good at this however the one month travel in Belgium and China put a brake to this, I’m not at the level I was in early March. I don’t feel the euphoria of those days.
I simplified the program ….Now, I start the day with a chakra meditation (Kundalini View definition in a new window Activator) then I work on bringing the feeling of happiness and I try to improve it, I also do the Klaus 3,6 millions dollars meditation and several more exercises (energy work, concentration).
Nothing new for now, I need to reach the level I was last month and from there I have to explore new areas.
I have to say that something came up in the process I have to balance the male and female energy in me this is a big topic for another post may be. (more…)

CDs for chakra meditation

Friday, April 18th, 2008

Developing and balancing the chakras system has become very easy lately thanks to all these CDs and course to achieve this.
I’m going to talk about some products from the current offer in this area.

Let’s start by the unguided CDs, they are typically music CD with or without brainwave entrainment in them.

Steve Halpern’s Chakra Suite

Chakra Suite is the remastered version of the 70’s album Spectrum Suite (I own one). It was designed to stimulate the chakras, at least this is what the author said in an interview published in the early 80’s nowadays Chakra Suite is marketed as a CD to balance the chakras.
If you know some chakra meditations and exercises may be from yoga or other, this CD will provide excellent background music. I have done during several months chakra breathing exercises with the original CD as background music, it was always great moment. Good product, thumb up.

You can listen and download mp3 samples of this album:

Hemi-Sync Chakra Journey

Based on the same principle than the Chakra Suite CD with musical tracks to focus on the chakras, from the root (key of C), to the crown (key of B), this one add the Hemi-Sync© technology to the mix.
I like Hemi-Syncã products they always deliver if you have chakra exercises of your own this could be a good aid CD providing you can do your meditation with headphone. (more…)

Stop buying binaraul beat CDs and start creating your own ??? The TENORI-ON revolution

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

It was always relatively easy to create your own binaural beat with tools like the Brainwave Generator or the SBaGen — Binaural Beat Brain Wave Experimenter’s Lab.
Once you had your beat created you had to mask the tones with the sound of sea waves or rain. May be, you are lucky you are own of the few able to create music to create something better…
But now this is about to change Yu Nishibori from Yamaha helped to create the TENORI-ON a machine to create your own music complete with musical training.

You can see the basic principle:

On this video this another demonstration of the TENORI-ON

You can create your meditative melody with this, once you have your music created you can use it with your own brainwave creation.

Scientists has unravelled how the brain unconsciously prepares our decisions ?

Monday, April 14th, 2008

Germany

Already several seconds before we consciously make a decision its outcome can be predicted from unconscious activity in the brain. This is shown by a study of scientists from the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig, in collaboration with the Charité University Hospital and the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience in Berlin. The researchers from the group of Professor John-Dylan Haynes used a brain scanner to investigate what happens in the human brain just before a decision is made. “Many processes in the brain occur automatically and without involvement of our consciousness. This prevents our mind from being overloaded by simple routine tasks. But when it comes to decisions we tend to assume they are made by our conscious mind. This is questioned by our current findings.” The study by Haynes and his colleagues Chun Siong Soon, Marcel Brass and Hans-Jochen Heinze will be published in the May issue of Nature Neuroscience and will available online on Sunday April 13th at 1pm EST (Embargo date).

In the study participants could freely decide if they wanted to press a button with their left or right hand. They were free to make this decision whenever they wanted, but had to remember at which time they felt they had made up their mind. The aim of the experiment was to find out what happens in the brain in the period just before person felt the decision was made. The researchers found that it was possible to predict from brain signals which option participants would take already seven seconds before they consciously made their decision. Normally researchers look what happens when the decision is made, but not what happens several seconds before. The fact that decisions can be predicted so long before they are made is a striking finding.
