Keep the memory healthy as the years pass

They say as you grow older your memory will work less effectively, well, assuming this is true they are things you can do about it:

Play memory online game such as http://memoryzine.com/

Do things that are new and very challenging. Pick more difficult crossword puzzles or Sudoku math games. Try activities that are novel to you, such as learning to play a musical instrument, fix a car or speak a second language.

Physical activity does help the brain. In some studies, people who exercise regularly had lower risks of memory problems and dementia. And in lab studies, researchers have found that exercise raises levels of a substance called BDNF that promotes the growth of brain cells.
