Observing the observer
ByThey are probably many ways to get happiness , may be we have a job or hobby that make us feel good and happy, however, our lives are made of what we observe, the act of observation makes the nerve cells fire and produce thought (Ramtha).
I’m sad
I’m happy
I love myself
I hate myself
Etc …etc…those thoughts put at front of yourself , this is the thing you create, they make up your subjective and outer reality. If you observe that you hate yourself you will more likely band with people that validate that belief and you will completely ignore the people showing you sign of love even if you are surrounded by them. Now, all those small “I” they take energy or focus to be maintained and are therefore source of insecurity , what if you lose your state of ‘I’m happy, I’m smart, I’m beautiful’, have you noticed how the so-called beautiful people are so insecure to lose their so-called beauty ?
To be totally happy is to be free and to be free, one must be in the position of the Observer (The true Self) observing the observer (the personality). When you are in that position you observe all those ‘I m this, I’m that’ without judgement, you understand what this is all about.
In fact, we could create a better reality of ourselves just by being more mindful of what we observe as a personality. For instance we could learn to ‘act’ instead of ‘react’. That what the ads people (advertisers) want us to do to react and also on TV, they always ask ‘what is your reaction to this and that ?’
Well, reaction is B.S. reaction is emotional and lead nowhere interesting. If something isn’t good then withdraw your attention from it and observe something better. The previous sentence is to be read between the line.
