Ramtha - Gandalf’s Battle On The Bridge In the Mines of Moria

By Louis Yagera

gandalfI’m happy I read that little book called Gandalf’s Battle On The Bridge In The Mines of Moira by Ramtha. It is a quick read of 80 pages and to me only 20 pages are worthy of reading but then I got a lot of those pages. The book talks about determination and being an observer by observer the book I think mean someone who focus on what s/he does want.

Sometimes, I do feel some laziness I do an exercise and I said to myself well why not have a nap , why not spend times on Youtube and why not stop working and just be lazy.. when this thing occurs I remember what I read in the book, I don’t know, it was good re-programming to me , Ramtha is a good speaker, because, his words resonate in my brain, he talks about a story from The Lords of the Rings and The Hobbit written by J.R. Tolkien apparently the man was a freemason trained into the esoteric and he understood a lot of stuffs.
The story is about a little master standing on a bridge and facing a monstrous necromancer. The little master tells to the huge necromancer you cannot pass.

“Imagine a necromancer looking and going , ‘ what you are not afraid of me’ ?”

“No, I’m not . And you are not going to pass.”
….
“You are not going to pass - I don’ care how big you are, and I don’t care how bad you are, I don’t care how ugly you are – you are not going to pass here because I said you are not”
….

(pg 45)

This is a great frame to have, when your demons come up at least when my demons of laziness , fears and doubts show up I told them that ‘You are not going to pass, I don’t care what you think , but you are not going to pass’. It is energizing.

The same for my goal of achieving my potential, I will not quit , I will not slack off, I will not lose focus. I have high motivation and thanks to this book to provide me with a framework to avoid being sidetracked in useless activities.

Often, we decide to do something new , we have some enthusiasm about the stuff and then some fears and doubts show up , what if I fail, what If I lost myself .etc…we negotiate with these fears and doubts we might end up either by going for something lesser or we can drop completely our initial idea.
I had this many times and I’m sure many have that too. Now, what I do is I don’t negotiate , self talk about these fears and doubts in myself , I simply says that they aren’t going to pass and I don’t care about them, that the frame I use now.

I recommend the book to anyone feeling stuck or wanting to learn about what determination is really about. The book also recommends to read The Lord of Rings series probably they are some wisdom there also.

Very interesting, Ramtha referring to “trivial” literature.
I appreciate this, its good when channels have humor and know how to include current things that many people have a connection with, into their teachings.

I read the Lord of the Rings, its a good fantasy book.

Keep that discipline up, Louis :D
