Hey Louis,

Great blog, not that I am very experienced in blogs as a whole though lol. Anyway I have just started in the last week "The Gateway Experience" and have visited the Monroe Ins website a few times and seen some awesome cds there too. As I use my IPOD to listen to the sessions, I had wondered if you could get the hemi sync on itunes which is what led me to your blog in the first place :D

I am only up to Discovery 3 so far but although I meditate regularly, have already noticed someting different about myself, it is like when I am at work, I feel really connected with people more so than before, and ideas for solving every situation for the best of all parties involved just pop into my head. Also due to my age (49) I have been experiencing word muddles but since starting with the hemi sync not only has this been reduced but also I find almost the opposite and I find myself saying things that make a lot of sense, but also feel like they have come from somewhere else???

Anyway I have emailed the Monroe Institue with a question and as you are experienced with the course wondered, if you knew the answer also?

Basically, with the instant connections to Focus 10 and also to get the Rebal set up, do you know if you can do either of this although the most important one for me being Rebal, either standing or sitting down?

I have found the Intro to Focus 10 amazing and on once occassion it felt like I was kind of lifting off the bed, and I could feel my hands get really light also!

Having experienced a lot of similar programs over the years personally I have found hemi-sync to be the best. I could not get on with Dick Sutphens stuff, it just doesnt work for me for some reason.

Anyway, nice talking with you, and if you get a chance to let me know re the question that would be brilliant!

If I get an answer from the Institute I can drop a note her if you think anyone might be interested.

All the best

Namaste

Concentration....
I had some concentration problems when I first started doing meditations. So I started with a relaxation meditation where i just let go of my self not thinking too much if it is working or not. I did the relaxation meditation twice daily for about 45 days and after that concentration problems became minimal.
You are a wonderful loving spirit Louis!... doing a great job of lifting our consciousness! I m going to jot down a few things that might help you move forward on your journey.
Energy work by Robert Bruce ( you might have already read it otherwise its a great read )
Do check out OSHO & Paramahansa Yogananda
Both teachers have some great books...that you might want to read :)

With love, :)

Hi Kasia, concentration is always difficult it demands practice, try some slow deep breathes.
It also important not to try too hard.
Trying too hard prevents you to go in deep relaxation due to tension.

Thanks for your message it is always nice to hear from regular readers.

Hey Louis!

Thanks a lot for this post, it is really helpful. Currently I'm struggling to achieve Focus 10, unfortunately with limited success so far. I either fall asleep or can't concentrate at all. Your advice from one of your previous post about eye mask and quality headphones seems to help a bit though. This post inspired me to set up a regular twice-a-day routine, maybe increased frequency will help.
I also want to say that I'm your regular reader and the topics you write about are very interesting. All the best and keep them coming!
