Is it dangerous to use brainwave entrainment and binaural beats ?

Some people ask themselves if the use of binaural beats and brainwave entrainment technology can potentially have negative side effect.
I will tell up front I never heard of negative side effects after the use of product like Brainsync , Immrama Insight CD or any other. I have been playing with brainwave entrainment for many years never encountered a problem and this is the same for the people I know who use this technology and I know many people.

In fact, based on an empirical study conducted by MindTek (the maker of the Supercharger CD and the UltraMeditation series), they observed the following on their users (this is based on their comments, they used the Supercharger CD which contains an alpha wave induction)

Lasting effect over time were better use of “intelligence”, more emotional stability and greater alertness.
Many studies have also been conducted by the Monroe Institute (maker of the Gateway Program and Hemi-sync)

During one study a psychiatrist exposed one patient suffering of schizophrenia to Hemi-sync sound pattern , he found that his patient lost the symptoms of his illness [Monroe, Far Journey ,1985]

Some people have been able to reduce or eliminate chronic pains, Hemi-sync was used with great success during surgery. Now , this technology is obviously not mainstream otherwise large pharma conglomerates will lose huge amount of money and Nearly all US doctors have links with drug companies, so they aren’t going to promote non-drugs based treatment such as hemi-sync.

Hopefully today more people put less faith in the claim of conglomerates in their puppets in the mainstream media in due time these technologies will claim victory.
