Chemical drugs or sending out love ?

Yesterday, I was listening to the interview of Andreas Niedrig a world-class triathlete , winner of the Ironman and many other competitions, he is also the author of a book called ” Vom Junkie zum Ironman” (from Junkie to Ironman), before he was the champion he is now, he was into heroin, he decided to change path when he hit the bottom, in the interview he said that sport give him sensation that drugs doesn’t give him.

There are many reasons why people can turn to drugs, that can be escaping reality, need for self-destruction , hiding pains , may be, they are other reasons. A couple of years ago, I had a friend and he went to a rave festival and there he took something , the next thing we knew, he was sent several months in hospital, the man completely fried his brain with the drug he took in that party, his brain didn’t support it, after a couple of months, he was released from hospital. I saw him ,oh man, he was like a zombie, I mean a real zombie, he was smelling all the drugs his doctor prescribed to him, he had empty and lifeless eyes, he was scary. We don’t know what he took there, but it sure damaged his brain for life.
acid lsd newbeat I also knew a girl that took some chemical supplement to ‘enhance’ her experience, she told me that she could perceive ‘life’ with more intense colors under the influence of that drug.
Another girl I knew took chemical supplement, she fell down and woke up several hours later in a hospital bed.

What recreational drugs (MDMA, LSD,GHB….) users don’t seem to understand, It’s that what they perceive as ‘the trip’ is actually the destruction of their brain cells.

MDMA (ecstasy) is know to deplete serotonin a neurotransmitter that affects emotions, behavior, and thought. Recent research demonstrates that MDMA might damage brain cells. LSD is also an extremely damaging chemical substance.

Now, we come to sending out love, sending out love can have give sensation that drugs cannot and install a new state of well being, you can use drugs and sending out love, but sending out love doesn’t damage your brain cells.

It also does cost cheaper but now ok, I know I m may be preaching in an empty church from what I know of drug users, they want absolutely destroy themselves, they completely lack self love and they don’t want to admit it to themselves. They will have to make their own self realization about drugs and making a switch to something sending out love. Just like Andreas Niedrig decided to give up on heroin when he realised he was in a blind alley.

i always tend to agree with you Tortue.

But here you make a major mistake.

LSD is not harmful in ANY way, it is indeed a tool of mind expansion just like brainwave cds are.
There is NO proven fact that LSD is in any way bad for you, unless you take it without precautions or when you have a psychose.

Judging holy substances like this is something fear based.

Also i dont like how you generalize all drugs: Your right on heroin, users of that drug are completely destroying themselves.

But those users of drugs like Mushrooms, Salvia, LSD, and to a lesser extent marijuana are absolutely nothing like your obivously wrong stereotype junkie.

Holy substances are a gift of the universe for us to expand our mind. Ask the inca’s, indian yogi’s and just about any other culture. Drugs aren’t something new, they are used throughout the ages by shamans and Magicians.

Again: I agree with the fact that some drugs are destroying everything, But for every bad psychoactive drug, there is also a good one.

Everything in the universe has its counterparts, this is no exception.

Face it: Some drugs are an invaluabe tool of mind expansion. Just like radionics: Its a nice tool but you dont NEED them.

Hi tim, well, I suggest you read The Nature of Personal Reality by Jane Roberts (Seth), there is the best material on LSD there and Seth material isnt exactly orthodox or in the system:)

Now, Mushrooms, cannabis and marijuana dont play on the same level than LSD , they are completely differents.

About the Shamans most of the information about them and drugs are fake… They experienced with psychotronic drugs and found that wasnt that good and they developed a drug free system, check out,a book called The magical Passes.

According to Ernst Jünger(1895-1998), a German writer who experimented with drugs during the beginning of the 20th century, mushrooms are the strongest hallucinogenic drugs, he considers LSD to be not as strong.

But I think the whole drug theme is difficult to discuss.
As all people are different, everyone reacts differently on drugs. Some people become junkies, just because they drink too much beer.
Others take heroin or LSD for a year or two and then (if they´re still alive) go back to a “normal” controlled life.

Drugs shouldnt be used as a shortcut or tool to achieve enlightnment.
But they can excellently be used as a “window” to the heightened states of consciousness, to see what is possible and how powerful the mind really is.
