Pepper and Slow Cashiers

When I was in Benidorm on the place you see on the picture I took a very long walk to my hotel, my hotel is the tall dark blue tower on the picture, It took me a couple of hours to get there, I listened to some of the Klaus Joehle recording especially the one called “Pepper and Slow Cashiers”, I think shouldn’t have done it because I manifested what the man is talking about in the recording…..

Klaus talks about how we don’t necessarily want a perfect life devoid of incidents and problems. You should really listen to the recording to understand what the trouble I put myself in.

Saturday afternoon I was in Barcelona with my friend Noelia, we had great time at about 9 P.M she left me to go back at her place, I had to go at the airport I decided I will take the last train to the airport and wait there, check in at the airport was on Sunday at 4 A.M.

I took my time to go at the train station to take a train to the airport , however, at the train station the information was rather contradictory, I saw a train for the airport on train lane 13 at 11 PM so I took it, many people with a lot of luggages there I thought well that my train, I had only 10 euro my bank blocked my card for some unknown reason so I couldn’t withdraw some more money and I was off-limit for the day with my Visa card, so I paid 2,50 euro my ticket and took the train.

The train left the station apparently yes, I recognized some of the stations to the airport however ’40 minutes later, we weren’t still there I understood that I was in the wrong train. I left the train at a station, there a security guard saw that I was lost and asked me what I look for , I told him I want to go back to Barcelona-Sants train station, he said no more train, my blood grew cold, then he said I can take a night bus to there, hopefully, I was at the right time for the night bus, I took it paid 2 ,50 euro the ticket.

We arrived at Barcelona at 1.30 AM which left me only less than 3 hours to go at the airport, I tried again to withdraw money both of cards refused to work, the taxi to the airport is 25 EURO, I have no money left to book a new flight the next day, I had to go at that airport, I ask to a few taxi drivers if they can drop me near the highway to the Airport for 5 euro (that what I had left), they refused, they even didn’t want to talk me…they looked at me like I m full junk or like I come from some garbage bag. One guy said that there is night bus to the airport, so I tried to locate them, I asked a bus driver, he said , yes, take the bus N17 he goes to the airport all night …so I saw the light, now I had to find the bus stop, I asked a few people they said they don’t know where it is , instead they advised me to take the night aerobus, they showed me the station, so I went there …to my horror the last aerobus was at 1.05 AM, and it was nearly 2 A.M by now, so I kept searching for the N17 by chance I found a bus information point, they told me where the N17 bus station was , I was saved, the bus came at 2.40 AM and I paid for a ticket at 1,25 euro, I arrived at the airport at about 3.30 AM checking was at 4 A.M no time to rest .

In the airplane I fell asleep at once, arrived at Brussels airport, I just had enough to buy a train ticket at 2,80 euro to go home, I arrived at home, I was left with small money enough to buy fast food for the day, I ate and went to sleep, I had my dose of ‘Pepper and Slow Cashier’ I want no more. I decided to go to live there in Spain, so now, I m under pressure to move of here as soon as possible, I m not going to rest this summer.
