I have been progressing more slowly than you have! I learnt TM nearly 30 years ago and have been meditating once or twice a day ever since. Over the last couple of years I have been listening quite often to the Metta Bhavana (development of lovingkindness). It's led by Bodhipaksa, on a CD that contains three guided meditations. Many people get fearful if they go too fast, it's good to gently establish love in your life - agape rather than eros - and gently heal the difficult things that have happened in the past.

Hi Louis,

it's interesting to read about your experiences with love. It keeps me motivated to go on with it, and maybe do it even a little more each day (I do 1/2 hour usually, a day and I also do the gratitude meditation).

There is one thing i wanna critique about your blog. I don't like the placement of the google adwords. In fact, it wanted to make me leave at first, but then i adblocked it to read your story. i also read in a marketing article that you shouldn't place ads in your blog, until it has grown big, because people will like it more without ads (i don't mind ads, as long as they don't mess with the text flow)
good thing i stayed though, cause it was interesting to read about your story.

best wishes,
