Dick Sutphen - The Zapper mp3 first impression

Saturday, September 30th, 2006

I bought yesterday the Zapper mp3 by Dick Sutphen, it is a long file 1 hour 13 minutes to induce deep trance.
the ad copy said:

Use this CD to induce a deep altered state of consciousness. Vibrational theta waves are combined with a delta-rhythm pulse to generate a hyponogogic state of mind in which you are open to receive subjective images and inspiration. In this semi-sleep state, dream-like images and awareness-expanding ideas are more likely to b released from your unconscious mind.

Well, with the Zapper I REM rather quickly and have the hyponogogic state of mind , I had also my body falling asleep. So I can say so far it is a promising tool. I will wrote about it later.

So after nine days, I notice that during my jogging I run with more velocity, the same distance I do it faster and I ‘m even less tired.

Making a first impression

Wednesday, September 6th, 2006

I read a book called ‘First Impression’ by Ann Demarais and Valerie White both consultant in social dynamics. The book gives a series of methods to make a positive first impression and from there build good rapport. A first impression is the way you will make someone feel the first time you approach him or her, the person based on this first interaction might build a certain image of you and use it as filter to color your rapport. Obviously, if the first impression you make is one of unfriendliness the person you interact with will literally color the rapport with you by reacting to that image of unfriendliness that you radiate out.
