When you were kids your parents used to tell you things that were very hypnotic to you. Say for example that as kid when your mother or father gave you a bit of money, you spent it right away and then they used to shout at you that ‘ you can’t manage any money’, because the experience was new and the anger of your parent caused you a strong emotional response, it caused you to form the belief that you can’t manage any money, as an adult you end up not being able to manage your own finance. See it was so easy, suggestion + emotional response and that was it, if it repeated enough or even if this is something very new chance are that the appropriate neurological network was formed for the new belief about money.
In fact to have an effective hypnotic suggestion you use words and the words serve as direction to a feeling , the feeling will install the belief.
The feeling of what you want will make you resonate with what you want a contradictory feeling or no feelings at all, may not give you the result you look after. Many people use affirmations in a robot-like sort of way, they write the affirmations or repeat them and feel nothing about the content of them, the words in a affirmation or a hypnotic suggestion are not that important, as I said they serve just to give a direction.
You can ease a suggestion in by making your sentence like this ‘The more X the more/better Y’ ‘The more I run in the morning the healthier I’m’ rather than ‘running make me feel healthy’, the first suggestion will cause less resistance if you are not feeling healthy however this is not so important if you can fully experience the feeling behind the words of your suggestion you will do very fine, but you must have a feeling for it, consider the suggestions:

I m truly loved
What does it feel like to feel acceptance for the self, are you familiar with the feeling? What does it feel like to be truly loved ? If you are not familiar then you will have to work at it. Well, looking for a feeling is not too complicated in the case of self-acceptance, you can start by feeling gratitude and appreciation for something you like about yourself for example your house, a skill you have or whatever, when you are experiencing that, you can expand it to the things you don’t accept about yourself, if you visualise then replace the pictures , replace the picture of your house that you are proud of by the picture of something you don’t accept about yourself, you may have the feeling for half a second until it vanish, but if you keep doing it and expand to all area you don’t accept about yourself then it will work. A suggestion or an affirmation can help to keep you focused on this, but concentration matter being in trance doesn’t matter, we go in trance for self-hypnosis to find that concentration but you can have concentration while fully awake, do this use your suggestion for 5 to 15 minutes for like a month and you will see change.
