Repressing emotions
Tuesday, July 18th, 2006We do a lot of things to either suppress or repress emotions, however repressing emotions only bring temporary relief to a deep seeded problem, our emotional wounds.
When I did a 24 hours fast I was able to see some of the things I do to repress emotions or suppress them, this included ‘eating from emotional levels’, ‘wasting time listening too much music during too much time’, ‘too much television’. I was completely able to get rid of those things I did to repress my emotions I now left alone with the feelings and I have a chance to heal the emotional wounds.
