Last night around 3.20 AM, I did session 4 of Advanced Focus 10 (CD 2- Discovery WAVE 1 – track 1).So far it was my best session since I bought the Gateway Experience – Discovery – wave 1 (long name ?).
In that session you are asked to build a REBAL (resonant Energy Balloon), at first and during the three first session I didn’t get it, why I was doing this. I have to reveal that it was a bit boring I even wanted to go back to CD 1 – Intro to Focus 10, which was more fun.

I was wrong, so after you made the REBAL the voice of Robert Monroe starts to count to lead you to the Focus 10 state, during that session Monroe counted from 1 to 10, everything was fine, I had hypnagogic imagery in my mind but when the voice of Monroe said 8 , all the images disappeared I was in total blackness with zero signal be it light, visualisation or others in my mind and eyes.
The only time I met with such blackness is when I have sleep paralysis but contrary to sleep paralysis I was in rather pleasant state by 10 I was in a deep state of Focus 10, I couldn’t clearly feel my fingers, I couldn’t clearly feel my limbs, I didn’t know if my body was on my mattress or in the mattress, it was difficult to identify boundaries.

It felt strange it was like my physical body was the shell of another body less important in size I had mainly awareness of that ‘second’ body and that second body could gather impressions from the physical body, I had an impression of distance with the physical body. It is really difficult to describe. At a certain point in the blackness I asked if there is anyone here, no answer, I tried to figure out how can I move or I have some kind of perception. I got nothing, only blackness and silence, some of my fears emerged but I was able to lessen the fears I thinking about the REBAL, so I understand this REBAL is all about.

The all experience went well after my session I couldn’t sleep I had so much question. I was really in Focus 10 ? Where are the usual dreamlike images I usually perceive ? and much more.
No doubt, I’m having fun with these CD’s. Towards the end of the session I said ‘thanks Mister Monroe’.
