Gateway Experience Wave 1 (orientation) first impression
This morning, the postman woke me up and he had package for me the Hemi-Sync Gateway Experience® - Wave I Discovery – CD. The Gateway Experience® is dedicated to developing, exploring and applying expanded states of awareness.
I briefly read the 27 pages manual, especially the FAQ (Frequently Asked Question) I didn’t pay much attention to the exercises description I didn’t want to raise my expectation improperly or too high.
I went back to my bed with my CD player and my cool Sennheiser HD 590 headphone.
I did track 1 - Orientation .

The voice of Robert Allen Monroe introduce the Hemi-sync® process (Hemispheric synchronization), during the exercises he asks to put worries and concerns in a box.
After that part, we do some relaxation exercises (breathing) and the effect is enhanced by the Hemi-sync® binaural beat, I had excellent relaxation response.
Guided relaxation exercises on binaural beat are always more powerful than the binaural beat alone, I know 4 companies that are good at this The Monroe Institute, Extrememind.com, Learning Strategies and ARVARI, other companies like MindTek or Immrama just make binaural beats without any guided meditations this is good too, if you know how to meditate with them and do active relaxation with them, you will get excellent response, too.
Later in the track, we are introduced to the Focus 3 state, which I experienced as being relaxed in a light trance. It wasn’t complicated to reduce internal dialog and stay on focus.
The track last approximately 32 minutes, that was my first experience with the Wave 1 Discovery. I will report more as I progress.
