Female Brain
” Louann Brizendine discovered that almost all of the clinical data in existence on neurology, psychology, and neurobiology focused exclusively on males.” Brizendine decided to make his own studies and he wrote a book about them, that will be published this summer 2006. He will answer question like :
why are women more verbal than men?
As far as the people I know are concerned, I haven’t seen this to be true.
Why do women remember details of fights that men cannot?
In my case, I’m the one who remember more.
Why do women tend to form deeper bonds with their female friends than men do with their male counterparts?
As far as I have seen, women don’t keep their friends on a very large number of years like men do, men can make deep bonds with their counterparts but the outer form of the bond might not be seen as ‘girly’.
Chapter of the book will be.
Chapter 1 Birth of the Female Brain
Chapter 2 Teen Girl Brain
Chapter 3 Love and Trust
Chapter 4 Sex
Chapter 5 Mommy Brain
Chapter 6 Emotions
Chapter 7 Mature Female Brain
Epilogue: The Future of the Female Brain
Appendix: The Female Brain and Hormone Therapy
Appendix: The Female Brain and Postpartum Depression
hmm, I’m not really interested in such a book, I’m rather skeptical, I understand that women have different focuses than men and I believe that it’s best to learn from direct observation, add to that the fact that I believe that the human psyche is not specialized in being a man or woman, different focuses will create different neurological circuits and not the other way around. We make our brain, our brain doesn’t make us.
